My attempts to further distance myself from editing apps and software. In many ways this was also an attempt to distant myself from the daily noise and hyper productivity in a media world. Also as a way to rid of repressed energies from a 9-5 job and channeling them into a creative energy as a liberatory power. I slowly began to notice a change in my thought process once i started to minimalize my role character in the digital world. Slowing down my process and being more hands with raw materials while continuing to shoot on film brought a calmness to my creative outlet.
